Achieve visual depth with this versatile, easy to use, slow-drying glaze. Tintable Glaze can be tinted to 1000's of colors. Use with other Valspar Faux glazes for a pearlescent, metallic or antiqued look. Valspar Faux Tintable Glaze may be used for any of the following techniques: Color Washing, Dragging, Sponging, Rag Rolling
One quart will cover 250-400 sq. ft. (23.2-37.1 m²) for Additive techniques, and 175-200 sq. ft. (16.3-18.6 m²) for Subtractive techniques.
Use on clean walls, ceilings, furniture, cabinets and trim. Tip: Practice your technique beforehand on a sample board.

Make sure surfaces are clean, dry and free of peeling paint. Use a primer on new wallboard. Use Valspar® Signature Colors® Interior Satin Wall & Trim under Tintable Glaze. Allow Base Coat to dry 4 hours or overnight before applying Tintable Glaze.
1. Apply the base coat according to label instructions. 2. Apply Tintable Glaze as outlined in the Valspar® Signature Colors® Faux How-to Guide. 3. Protect your decorative finish with Valspar® Signature Colors® Faux Clear Protector. Allow Tintable Glaze to cure one week before applying protective finish.
This glaze will stay workable for up to 45 minutes. Avoid drafts from fans, open windows, etc. to prevent premature drying. Surface and air temperatures should be between 55-75°F (12.8-23.9°C).
May cause eye and skin irritation. Avoid breathing vapors or spray mist. If painting indoors, open windows and doors or use other means to ensure fresh air entry during application and drying. If you experience eye watering, headache or dizziness or if air monitoring demonstrates vapor/mist levels are above applicable limits, wear an appropriate, properly fitted respirator (NIOSH approved) during and after application. Follow respirator manufacturers directions for respirator use. AVOID CONTACT WITH THE EYES AND SKIN. Wash thoroughly after use. Close container after each use.
